Aim
The aim of this course is to equip the students with the set of technical Skills and Knowledge to meet the industry demands. The course curriculum is designed and planned to carry out technical support functions in mechanical engineering design, production, quality assurance, material control and maintenance of automated machines and equipment in accordance to local as well as international standard and practices, which enables learners to support in the optimum productivity and meet the dynamic industry.

The electronics and communication engineering course was initiated in 2006. In early years the aim was in the development of good infrastructure facility of teaching the diploma course.
The department of electronics and communication engineering shares the vision and mission of K.K. Polytechnic in importing quality education to the students to meet national and global challenges by providing research and development as well as simulating and flexible learning environment for students and facilities.

The primary aim are to produce civil engineers with requisite knowledge and technical skills in civil works, capable of serving in any capacity such as management of exploration, drilling, reservoir production and transportation of gas and water.

About
The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities is continuing from the date of its inception with a mission of imparting teaching and promoting implementation of practical aspects of Applied Sciences and Humanities to build a solid foundation as part of the Engineering Eductaion. Further, the vision is set for opening up research areas in the field of Applied Sciences and Humanities, there by ensuring the scope for imparting Masters and Doctoral level courses in the relevant subjects belonging to the field of Applied Sciences and Humanities.
The department teaches basic subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Environmental Science and Management. These basic subjects serve as the foundation for imparting engineering education.
MOST of us learn the theoretical aspects of science right through school. Applied Science differs from basic science because the latter seeks to describe the most fundamental objects and forces having less emphasis on practical applications. Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering discipline which studies the operating principles of the automobiles by incorporating various elements of engineering such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering.
The study of automotive engineering is to design, develop, fabricate, and testing vehicles or vehicle components from the concept stage to production stage. Production, development, and manufacturing are the three major functions in this field.
